There are so many fabulous sights to see and places to experience it is difficult to choose the highlights.

Golf anyone? There are over sixty five golf courses in a fifty mile vicinity.

For a quarter you can enjoy the beach trolley which will bring you from one end of seven mile Ft. Myers Beach to the other. On the far north end is Bodich Park, a beach dedicated to natural preserve. Also on the north end is Times Square which is a very fun wharf area with a fishing pier, beach side casual dining, music, dancing, shopping and street performers.

Kids love the playground near Times Square, the pirates ship and the homemade candy and ice cream shop. Well, Mom and Dad like the ice cream as well! The sunsets from the north end are breath taking. Be sure to bring your camera!

This is where there is the public beach, and public parking.

Hop back on the trolley and travel to the south end of Ft.Myers beach and over the bridge to experience the newly adorned beautiful Lover's Key State Park. Fish, watch the dolphins, boaters and parasailing.

Just about anything for water sports is available to rent on the beach. Junkanoo and Holiday Inn have rental sites for Wave runners, parasail, etc. Mopeds, bikes and boats available to local shops for rental.

Great kayak tour of the back bay with educated guide is wonderful.

Tennis and public pool with water slides. State of the art library with Internet access on second level. Visitor's library pass good for the season is only Five dollars. No need to bring books, videos or DVDs.

The kids favorites are mini golf, deep sea fishing, the beach, swimming, shelling.

Adult favorites include dolphin and manatee watching in the canal, beach walks, a serious checker game in the beach cabanas, fine and causal dining. Just relaxing in the master suite with a good book.

Rent beach cabanas very reasonable by the day, week or month just south of the beach access. Relax, sit back and enjoy. Snack and beverage boat usually anchors near these south end cabanas to offer ice cold refreshments all day.

Everyone's favorite: Catch the latest movie releases at The Beach Theater. Enjoy the movie while dining at your table! Wine and beer served during the movies as well.

Available Day trips: Shelling on Sanibel Island the Shell Capital, Sunset wine and cheese sailing lessons from Captain Mick off Captiva at Tween Waters Inn, Renting a four to six person canopy bike and watching the birds, gators, and blue crabs at Ding Darling Preserve on Sanibel. Top the day off with some shopping at the many boutiques or the great outlet mall on your way off Sanibel Island.
